• School Uniforms and Text Books given by the Government have been distributed to all the students in school.
• Transfer Certificate to all the students who have completed Fifth standard will be distributed on tomorrow.

Dear All,

Schools remain closed for summer vacations and there are no major updates this week

One reminder – For the volunteer Teacher that we are sponsoring for Government School in Bangalore, we are planning to raise the Teacher's salary from the current Rs 2000 to Rs 2500 (considering her work and also the fact that the living expense has gone up). We are looking for sponsors - either partly or in fully –for this. Kindly feel welcome to contribute

Dear All,

National Middle School, Pallavaram, Chennai

Farewell - Farewell for the 08^th standard students were conducted. Snack boxes were given to them as gifts

Summer vacation - The School is closed for summer vacation. The School shall re-open on 01  June 2011 for the next academic year

Summer vacation – The School is closed for Summer vacation and is scheduled to re-open on 30^th May 2011

 

Donation received: We have received a computer from a friend. This is a used computer in working condition and the plan is to give it to National Middle School, Chennai

As of now we are there are two important requests

(a)    Uniform for the Government School children of Bangalore (expected estimate Rs 30,000)

(b)   Windows for the multi-purpose hall  (expected estimate Rs 25,000)

 

Currently we have less than Rs 30,000 with us and we are looking to raise funds for the above request. Every contribution, will help towards addressing the above needs
