Our fourth board meeting is scheduled on 24 and 25 of Jan.

Bangalore:

We had a meeting on 17th January 2009 (Saturday morning). The following was the agenda
(1) Topics for upcoming Board Meeting (24 and 25 Jan)
(a) Website – (technical fine tuning, checking vision & mission statements, 'mail templates', discussion forum, website maintenance (new member addition, photo changes), etc…..
(b) Time table for every thing we do (board meetings, monthly meetings, school visits etc…..
(c) Regulations for events (taking children our, communication for monetary help etc……
(d) Roadmap/Activities at school
(e) Setting deadlines and meeting them
(2) School events
(3) Action items from the previous board meetings, conference calls
(4) Time table for local meetings- To be discussed in the upcomming board meeting.
(5) Bank account
Information here is, we had created a current bank account. Recently on speaking to one of my colleagues Father, we got to know that we can create a savings bank account. One important point here we shall get interest on our deposits if we are having savings account. So I went to the bank today to enquire if we can convert our current account to savings account. The answer is no. We have to create a new savings account


Chennai:

The TV that was requested by the school (National Primary School, Pavallavaram) has been ordered. The cost of this 21' ONIDA Color TV is Rs 6700.
