Dear All,

 

Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura, Bangalore

 

School Uniform : For the uniforms that we are sponsoring, the tailor has stitched 30 uniforms. The students were requested to pay the tailoring fee

The rest of uniforms shall be stitched by 2^nd week of September 2011. The Teacher proposed to have a small function on a  day

and distribute the uniform among the students

Saktyavesh weekly update - 22nd August 2011

Dear All,

 

Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura, Bangalore

 

Volunteer Teacher – The new volunteer Teacher whom we are sponsoring has been attending School starting 13^th August 2011. This Teacher's presence

          becomes all the more important now as another regular Teacher has gone on Maternity leave and there is no replacement. So now the School which has

          classes up to 5^th standard has only 4 Teachering staff. 2 regular Teacher and 2 volunteer Teacher (one sponsored by us and one by another NGO)

                                  Thanks to Rajesh, Ananth and Kamesh for sponsoring this volunteer Teacher's salary (Rs 2500)

Wishing you All HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day Celebration - Today Independence day was celebrated in National Middle School, Pallavaram, Chennai and Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura, Bangalore. Our National Tri-color was hoisted and then there were some performances by the Children - song, dance, speech - and then sweets were distributed. Prizes was also given to students who performed well in the previously held competitions

 

Computer Donation - A computer was donated to National Middle School, today. Thanks to Hari for donating this and Prem Kumar Manoharan, Dinesh A, Kamesh VijayKumar and Dinesh for facilitating this

Dear All,

Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura, Bangalore

Uniform – Last week, the Teacher, went shopping for the uniform which we will be sponsoring for this academic year. Shirt and Trouser material were purchased. Totally, Shirt material cost Rs 4176                   (per meter cost - Rs 40; totally 104.4meters was purchased; 40*104.4 = 4176). Totally, Trouser material cost Rs 12, 784 (per meter cost - Rs 85; totally 150.4meters was purchased;85*150.4= 12784). Totally Rs 17,260 was spent, including Rs 300 for transportation and labor charges)

Since we are short of funds we will be requesting parents to bear the stitching charges
