Hopefully we will be able to do much more and be a worthy partner for each Children and the School as a whole. There were few competitions conducted and prizes distributed. We had donated Rs 500 for this towards the prizes
  • As requested by the staff, we had decided to buy the SLM (Self Learning Material) for the School. We have donated Rs 7000 (in DD) to the contact person in SSA (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) office. Expecting the kit to be delivered very shortly (hopefully tomorrow). Also, we had donated three mats, each costing Rs 800. The mats were brought by the staff as per the needs
  • We are still on the look out for a place to have meetings between friends from Chennai. If there is any appropriate place, please feel free to say so
Auditor in Bangalore

On July 15th 2009, we met an auditor in Bangalore (as we are registered in Bangalore) to discuss filing our Income Tax returns and getting to know of the legalities involved in running a Non Profit Organization. The auditor’s name is Suresh. His firm’s name is Kurli Reddy & Company. They should be of good help as they are also the auditors for Bangalore Red Cross. The cost charged will be Rs 3000 (for auditing this year). The important outcome of the meeting was - we have to file our returns before September 2009. We are working on this with top priority
