Saktyavesh weekly update - 31st August 2010

Monthly Activity - On 28 August we had spoken English class for 6th, 7th and 8 th std. Spoken English class was taken by school Head master and few of our Volunteers. For 1st to 5th std wee have given Drawing practice. We have given practice for 3 pictures. Students used colour pencils, crayons and sketch pencils to color the drawings.

Saktyavesh weekly update - 16th August 2010

Dear All,

We introduce  Nandini T.V who will be working with us on societal development. Thank you for Joining us.

Government Lower Primary School, Vibhutipura, Bangalore.

Independence Day – Independence day was celebrated on August 15th. We participated in the celebration and distributed chocolates(worth Rs100) to all students and staffs.
Toys donation – last week we received five cartons of toys and play materials from Pantaloons. We distributed it to our school and also another school. Rs 400 was spent for the transportation.
Hall Construction - The roofing and electrical work has been done. Flooring and few more work is pending. Donations are needed for this work.

Saktyavesh weekly update - 2nd Aug 2010

Dear All,

National Middle School, Pallavaram, Chennai

Spoken English : On 31 th July, for classes 6th , 7th and 8th spoken English were taken by Aneesh and Pradeep. The session went for around 2 hrs. Staffs were very happy about the session.
Techniques of Drawing: Student from 1st std to 5th std were thought various techniques in drawing and exercise done in spry painting.

Sujith and SakthiVel had been to the school on 31 July and they took class for the fourth std students, teaching them Basics in English. Teaching materials were given by the school.

Saktyavesh weekly update - 26th July 2010

Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura, Bangalore

ü Appeal – The construction of the hall is in progress. There is an immediate need to buy floor tiles. Approximate cost involved is Rs 25,000. We are in need of funds for this. Any contribution would be of help

ü Rain water facility – The rain water harvesting construction has been completed. Total cost involved was approx Rs 25000. This was completely sponsored by the Government

ü Gentle reminder – This Saturday, 31^st July 2010, Spoken English and drawing classes are planned at the School. Do join to spend time with the children
