Saktyavesh weekly update - 30 January 2012

Dear All,

 

              26th January,  Re-public day was celebrated at Government Lower Primary School Vibhuthipura,

 L. B. Sashtri Nagar Tent School, (both Bangalore) and National Middle School, Chennai

                          

è At Government Lower Primary School, the occasion was graced by Wing Commander V. G. Krishna, a pilot in Indian Air Force

He hoisted the flag and shared experiences of his professional life with the curious Children

Later, we distributed sweets to the Children of two other tent Schools – L. B. Sashtri Nagar and Brindavan

We spent Rs 2000 for to buy 10 kg of sweets for the Children. Thanks to Dinesh for partly contributing towards this

 

è At National Middle School, there was flag hoisting

     Also, books were distributed to meritorious students

Dear All,

 

 Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura, Bangalore

 

Republic Day -  Coming Thursday, 26^th January, as we observe our Republic day, there is a celebration at the School

                                The Head Teacher has invited us to be a part of this function. As usual, we will be sponsoring sweets

                                Those who would like to sponsor sweets, please feel welcome

 

Netaji's Birth Anniversary- Today, 23^rd January, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was observed

                                                   at the School. Chocolates were distributed and after 03:00pm till 03:30pm, lessons

 on the patriotic freedom fighter were revised and information shared

Dear All,

 

 

Teacher's Salary – The Teachers salary for the two volunteer Teachers that we are sponsoring at

                                      Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura and Lal Bahadhur Nagar Tent School,

                                      has been paid last week. Thank you Ananth, Rajesh, Pavan, Kamesh and Hariharan

 

Snacks distribution – On Saturday, 07^th January 2012, we distributed biscuits and chocolates at the Lal Bahadhur Nagar

            Tent School where we are sponsoring a volunteer Teacher. The students were emphasized on

          cleanliness and hygiene
