Independence Day - There will be Independence day function in School on 15^th August, Monday. We are invited to be  a part of this celebration

Education Development day - 15^th July Mr. Kamaraj's birthday was celebrated as Education Development Day. Best in academic students were given with Prizes. Teachers who introduced more new children were appreciated and given prizes

 

New students - This academic year, 29 new students have joined the School, newly, in different classes

Saktyavesh weekly update - 11 July 2011

Dear All,

Government Lower Primary School, Vibhuthipura, Bangalore

Volunteer Teacher – The volunteer Teacher, Mrs. Rajeeshwari, that we were sponsoring for the School has left last month owing to personal reasons. Luckily, we have found another Teacher. The new volunteer Teacher's name is Ms Veena. She has undergone Teacher training and has sound knowledge on Computer's. She will be joining the School this week

We will be paying her a salary of Rs 2500 per month (partly contributed by Ananth, Rajesh, and Pavan)

This Teacher Salary (Rs 2500) has been paid for this month

The School was started on June 15 with 27 new admissions

The black board has been painted and new mats have been brought for the School

Calling volunteers for Teaching computers

 

The School has a computer lab. The students use it to access educational material. Apart from this training the students on the basics of Computer is one task

 

Volunteers who are willing to educate the children on the basics of computer, please let me know. You have to spare time for one class, a maximum of 2 hours, on a Saturday
