Last week, I had a meeting with one friend, B. R. Amarnath over our project. A Doctor by profession, he has been involved in healthcare initiatives providing basic healthcare services - through Honeywell Technologies, Bangalore. When Chickenguniya broke out, he used to travel to villages surrounding Bangalore to treat the economically challenged sections of the society. I had met him during two such visits, thanks to my sister and brother-in-law. He is currently enrolled with Andhra Medical College,Vishakhapatnam for his higher studies, MD, and shall be joining there soon. He did express his interest in working with us in sometime from now. Thank you Amar and looking forward for sustained partnership. Wishing you All the very best for your higher studies

I was to Hyderabad over the extended weekend, starting last Thursday (01st May 2008) till Sunday (04th May 2008) to meet friends and to discuss about the website. The visit was fruitful. There was an opportunity to meet Ananthakrishnan. One of the friends with whom a few us did our masters programin Sivakasi, near Madurai. A resident of Tuticorin, he is currently working with GE, Hyderabad. Thankyou Ananth, looking forward for sustained partnership

Another important agenda during the visit was to meet Kalyan & team for website development and hosting. A few more friends, including Ananth, Vivek, Ramamurthy and Srinivas Reddy joined.Ramamurthy and Srinivas Reddy are friends with whom a few of us did our graduation in Hyderabad.Thank you Ramamurthy and Srinivas, looking forward for sustained partnership. Kalyan, Ramamurthy, Ananth and Srinivas Reddy shall help with the website development, hosting and maintenance part.Suggestions did come up on maintaining a blog, distribution list etc If there are any moresuggestion/recommendations/questions with regards to this, please feel free to contact the said four friends. The activity shall only get better with interested involvement.

On Saturday, 03rd May 2008, Vivek and I visited another non governmental organization MV foundation, Secunderabad, working to Rehabilitate children and bring them back to school. We may approach them, if required, to seek their expertise/help in near future.

Regarding bank account opening - Vinay had been to Canara bank in Bangalore and shall update with details.
